  • chocolate mixture
  • chocolate - 100 g (minimum 52% cocoa)
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • sugar - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • vanilla - 1
  • eggs - 2
  • flour - 1/2 cup (120 g)
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese mixture
  • cream cheese - 1 cup (250 g)
  • eggs - 1
  • sugar - 1/5 cup (70 g) or to taste
  • liqueur - 2 tbsp, lemon
  • sour cherry layer
  • sour cherries - 1 cup, syruped (drained from it)
  • flour - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 pinch, optional

How to make

Chocolate mixture: Melt the chocolate and butter in a water both or in the microwave and leave the mixture to cool a bit. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla. To this mixture, carefully add the chocolate one. Once they've mixed well, add the flour sifted with the baking powder.

Cream cheese mixture: Beat the ingredients for it with a mixer until you get a smooth cream.

Sprinkle the sour cherries with flour a little before adding them to the cake.

Turn up the oven to 360°F (180 °C) without the fan on. Lay out the cake form with baking paper. Alternate between white and brown mixtures, while putting fruits in the middle. What you get is a very colorful, beautiful and incredibly delicious cake. Bake for about 40 min.

Wait until it's fully cooled and only then take it out of the oven. Decorate as desired and serve.
