How to make
Wash, dry and cut the oranges into a blender. Blend them to a mash, leave them aside.
Separately, combine the sifted flour with the baking powder and stir. Using just a tiny bit of the butter, smear the cake form and sprinkle lightly with flour.
In the bowl in which you're going to be mixing the cake batter, add the softened butter in pieces, 1 egg and 1/3 of the sugar. Beat with a mixer for 3 min. Add the 2nd egg, half the remaining sugar and beat again for 3 min. Add the 3rd egg, remaining sugar and beat for 3 min.
To this mixture, add the flour in parts, while stirring nonstop with a spatula.
Next, add the orange mixture, stir with the spatula until homogeneous.
Pour the mixture into a greased form and put it in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven, bake until golden.
Once the cake is baked, wait 10 min., take it out of the form and leave to cool.
To prepare the glaze, melt the chocolate in the oil in a water bath or in the microwave until it becomes a smooth, runny mixture. Once cooled, pour it over the cake and decorate with crumbled raw nuts if desired.
