How to make
Pour the dry yeast into the cool water with the sugar and stir with a fork. Leave it to bubble and pour it into the bowl with the flour.
Add the salt and milk, knead a soft dough and leave it in a warm area, covered with a towel or foil, to rise.
Divide the ready dough into medium-sized balls. Stretch them out with buttered hands to the size of a small pita.
Heat a buttered pan, place the flatbread pitas in it one by one and bake on both sides until ready.
Take them out to a plate, smear with butter and sprinkle with mixed spices.
It makes for an excellent weekend breakfast!
