Ingredients

  • mince - 14 oz (400 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • carrots - 1
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp
  • peas - 2/3 cup (150 g), canned
  • potatoes - 21 oz (600 g)
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • butter - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • eggs - 4
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • salt

How to make

Pour oil in a pan and braise the onions and garlic. Add the carrot and mince. Once braised, add the tomato paste and peas. Sprinkle with the spices and remove from the stove.

Boil the potatoes in salted water. Peel and mash them with a potato masher. Add the milk and butter. Stir until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Boil the eggs, cool and peel them.

Pour the mince with the vegetables into a buttered oven dish. Cover with the mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cut the eggs in half and arrange them on top of the mashed potatoes.

Bake the dish at 390°F (200 °C) for 15 min. Take it out and optionally sprinkle with mixed spices or paprika.
