How to make
Beat the eggs with the sugar well and add the vanillas, flour and 1 baking powder to them. Distribute thus prepared spongecake dough into a rectangular oven dish that you've covered with greased baking paper.
Bake until ready and leave the cake layer to cool.
Beat the confectionery cream until thickened. Syrup the cake layer with the compote juice but don't overdo it so the roll doesn't fall apart.
Smear the cake layer with jam, a little beaten cream on top and wrap it into a roll, while removing the baking paper in the process.
Press the roll carefully with your hands. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar and serve cooled.
