"Put your money on the classic recipe for a roll with marmalade. We love having it with strawberries but we`ve heard that it`s amazing with figs as well."

Ingredients

  • flour - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • butter - 1/5 cup (65 g)
  • eggs - 5
  • powdered sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • marmalade - 7 oz (200 g)
  • walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp

How to make

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar to whitening. Add the flour, melted butter, and finally the egg whites that have been whisked into snow.

Pour the mixture into a buttered baking dish and bake in a moderate oven.

Place the baked layer on a towel, smear it with jam, sprinkle with walnuts and cinnamon and roll it up.

Once cooled, sprinkle the roll with powdered sugar.
