"These Chocolate Rocks really do impress. So good, they`re a delight for any guest, as well as the entire family. And most importantly, they take just 15 min. to prepare."

Ingredients

  • chocolate pastry - 6 (8.5 oz (240 g))
  • biscuits - 5.5 oz (150 g), tea
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g), melted
  • jam - 5 tbsp (blueberry in this case)
  • rum - 1 tsp, essence
  • raisins - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • walnuts - 1 cup, ground
  • milk - 3 tbsp
  • for the ganache
  • dark chocolate - 7 oz (200 g)
  • confectionery cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml), liquid
  • coconut flakes - for sprinkling
measures

How to make

Soak the raisins in 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) warm water until they soften. Crumble the biscuits finely.

In a bowl, crumble the chocolate pastries, add the cocoa, biscuits, walnuts, milk, jam and drained raisins.

Mash everything with your hand, melt the butter and add it. Start kneading until the butter is fully absorbed and you get a wet, sticky mixture.

Cover the bowl with foil and leave it in the fridge for 30 min. for the mixture to harden.

From the resulting doughy mixture, form cones (rocks) and arrange them in a plate. Return to the fridge once again to harden.

Make the chocolate ganache by first heating the cream, remove from the stove. Then add the crumbled chocolate to it, wait a min. and stir until you get a liquid chocolate.

Take the cones out and cover each with the chocolate ganache, sprinkle with coconut flakes and put in the fridge again for an hour.

From the ingredients listed you're going to get about 15 medium-sized chocolate rocks.
