Ingredients

  • carp - 5.5 lb (2.5 kg)
  • leeks - 2, just the white part
  • red onions - 2 heads
  • onions - 2 heads
  • peppers - 2, red
  • mushrooms - 7 oz (200 g)
  • garlic - 5 - 6 cloves
  • walnuts - 1 cup, ground
  • tomato paste - 3 - 4 tbsp
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • white wine - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • salt
  • bay leaf - 3 - 4
  • parsley - 1 tbsp, dry
  • soy sauce - 2 - 3 tbsp
  • flour - 1 tbsp

How to make

Clean the carp of its insides and scales. Salt it and leave it for about an hour to take in the salt.

In a suitable oven dish, arrange the onions, leeks, pour in the oil and put them in a preheated oven. Wash and chop the carrots, peppers and mushrooms, add them to the oven dish. Cook until the vegetables soften.

Add the tomato paste, sugar and the carp as well. Pour on the wine and soy sauce. Sprinkle with the dry parsley, add the bay leaf, walnuts and garlic.

Bake to a golden crust. Flip the carp over and bake on the other side.

Dilute the flour with a little water and pour it into the vegetable mixture. Stir and bake another 2-3 min.

Garnish with lemon.
