Ingredients

  • puff pastry - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • apples - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • sugar - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • butter - 1/5 cup (70 g)
  • cinnamon
  • nuts - (optional)

How to make

Grate the washed and cleaned of seeds apples. Saute them in a pan with the butter, sugar and cinnamon until they become tender and gain an amber color.

Gently smooth out the puff pastry using a rolling pin. Cut it into rectangles. Put a bit of stuffing on and roll them up.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for 30 minutes or until the dough browns. Sprinkle the finished rolls with powdered sugar.
