Ingredients

  • vine leaves - 7 oz (200 g)
  • black pepper - 3 tsp, ground
  • oregano - 1 tbsp, fresh, finely chopped or marjoram
  • cheese - 10.5 oz (300 g), goat's
  • bread - rye, for serving

How to make

Pour boiling water over the vine leaves so they soften for a few min. Take them out and dry the excess moisture.

Mix the black pepper and oregano and add the crumbled cheese.

Put some of the mixture on top of every vine leaf and wrap them up.

Heat a grill and grease it. Grill the wraps 3 min. on each side.

Cut the wraps with a sharp knife and serve them atop slices of rye bread.
