measures

How to make

Clean the leek stalks, cut them into rings and stew them in a little butter. Add the garlic and minced meat. Fry everything well while stirring so that the minced meat does not become lumpy.

Pour a little water. Add the tomato puree and season with the following spices: savory, salt and black pepper. Leave the filling to cool to room temperature.

Add the egg and mix the filling. Grab a filo pastry sheet, spread it with a little melted butter, fold it in half lengthwise.

Place the filling at one end and roll it up. Continue with the rest of the Turkish filo pastry pies. In a dry frying pan, arrange four minced meat filo pastry pies and brown each pie on all four sides. Serve the filo pastry pie warm, but not hot.

Turkish filo pastry pie with minced meat and leeks will appeal to any borek lover.
