"A delicious and unpretentious vegetable dish with kale, mushrooms, and aromatic spices, which you should definitely try."

Ingredients

  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • oil - 2 tbsp.
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • carrots - 1
  • mushrooms - 9 oz (250 g)
  • kale - 7 oz (200 g)
  • rice - 1 cup
  • vegetable broth - 2 cups
  • salt
  • turmeric - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp.

How to make

Heat the butter and oil in a deep frying pan.

Peel the onion, garlic and carrot, finely chop them and fry them in the heated fat.

Cut the mushrooms into slices and put them in the pan along with the kale, cleaned from the stalks and veins.

Fry the vegetables for about five minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the washed rice, salt to taste, turmeric and black pepper, then pour 2 cups of vegetable broth.

Once the kale with rice, mushrooms and turmeric boils, cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat and let the rice cook until it is fully cooked.
