How to make
The beans are soaked overnight. In the morning, the water is changed, a new one is poured and the beans are put on the stove. As soon as the water boils, it is replaced again with a new water. Boil until the beans are cooked.
Fry the finely chopped onion, carrot and green pepper in a deep pan. After they soften, add the washed rice and pour a tea cup of the water in which the beans were boiled.
Let the rice absorb the water, stir and add the paprika and chopped tomatoes.
The beans are transferred to a baking tray with some of the water and the ingredients from the pan. The dish is seasoned with salt, savory herb and spearmint. If necessary, add more water.
Stir well and add the raw sausages. Put the baking tray in the oven. Cook at 390°F (200°C) for about 45 minutes.
Serve the warm bean and sausage dish with fresh homemade bread and a good tomato salad.
