Ingredients

  • green tomatoes - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • bell peppers - 6.5 lb (3 kg)
  • carrots - 6.5 lb (3 kg)
  • cabbages - 4.5 lb (2 kg), or cauliflower
  • peppers - 28 oz (800 g) banana and other type by choice
  • salt - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • sugar - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • oil - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • vinegar - 6 1/5 cups (1.5 l)
  • water - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • celery - 1 bunch
  • black pepper - 1 packet

How to make

Cut the tomatoes into slices. Cut the bell peppers into pieces and the carrots – into circles. Cut the cabbage as for a salad. Pour a boiling brine of 4 1/5 cups (1 liter) water, 6 1/5 cups (1.5 l) vinegar, 4/5 cup (200 g) salt, 1 1/5 cups (300 g) sugar and 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) oil over all of this.

Leave it to stand for 24 hours. Then add the celery and black pepper, mix well and distribute everything in jars.

Sterilize for 5 minutes after closing.
