  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tbsp.
  • flour - about 1.5 lb (700 g)
  • crumbled white cheese - about 9 oz (250 g)

How to make

Delicious bread buns with white cheese in the air fryer - suitable for breakfast, on the go, or as a snack.

In a bowl, add the yeast, sugar and milk. Beat lightly and let it activate.

In another bowl, add the yogurt with the soda and beat. Then add the oil and the egg. Beat again briefly.

Sift 1.2 lb (550 g) of flour into a bowl and add 1 tbsp. salt Then add the egg mixture and the activated yeast. First, mix with a spatula. After that, the dough is poured onto the counter and kneaded, gradually adding another 3.5 oz (100 g) of flour.

The dough is covered with a cloth or covered in a bowl and left to rise for about an hour.

Form 12-13 small bread buns of 3 oz (85 g) each from the risen dough. Add a little flour when shaping so that they do not stick to you. Cover the finished bread buns with a towel.

Grab one and first form a small rectangle. Then roll it out into a bigger one. Put crumbled white cheese in the middle. Close up both sides. Then you gently stretch and twist. Finally, braid as shown in the video.

Leave the finished stuffed bread buns under the towel to rise for another 15 minutes.

Beat 1 yolk with 1 tbsp. oil and spread the risen bread buns. I sprinkle seeds on top.

I baked the white cheese bread buns in the air fryer.

I baked on the bake program for 10 minutes on each side at 320°F (160°C).
