How to make
The turkey legs are cleaned and washed very well.
The wine is stirred with the salt in a deep bowl.
A finely chopped bay leaf is added.
The shanks are dipped in the wine on all sides and left in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Place the thyme and cumin seasoning in a shallow dish.
It is mixed with the oil until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
After removing from the refrigerator, the shanks are rolled on all sides in the seasoning and placed in the baking bag.
The bag is tied and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After removing from the refrigerator, place in a shallow baking pan and bake for 90 minutes in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C).
Water is not added to the baking bag with Turkey Shanks in a Baking Bag. When roasting, the shanks release their own sauce in which they are baked.
The oven temperature should not exceed 360°F (180°C), because the baking bag inflates during roasting and bursts at a higher temperature.
After the meat is roasted and removed from the oven, the baking bag is cut open to preserve the crispy crust of the roasted turkey.
