"Not just milk with rice but an aromatic dessert with cherries!"

Ingredients

  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • cinnamon - 1 stick
  • lemons - zest of 1 lemon
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • rice - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup (250 g)
  • vanilla
  • cherries - from a jar, or use sour cherries

How to make

Put the milk to boil with the cinnamon, salt and lemon zest. Add the washed and drained in advance rice and sugar and stir from time to time for 20 minutes until ready.

Finally add the vanilla and distribute it into dessert bowls or plates.

Serve sprinkled with a little cinnamon and cherries or sour cherries from a jar.
