How to make
In a small tray or bowls, caramelize the granulated sugar. Crumble the panettone very finely over the caramel.
Beat eggs with 4 tablespoons of sugar, add the warm milk and vanilla. Pour this mixture over the panettone, to absorb nicely.
Bake in a water bath in a moderate oven at 340°F (170 °C) until browned.
