How to make
This is a simple and delicious turkey dish. A great offer for those who love oven baked goods. It always turns out well, generally everyone likes it, and of course - it's a budget dish!
A great dish for Sunday lunch or for special occasions when we don't know exactly what the guests' preferences are. With this type of meal, a good salad is essential and it's good to serve with dumplings or boiled rice!
Clean the turkey legs of excess fat, wash them and make several cuts.
Place the turkey legs in a large bowl, then season with salt, black pepper and lemon juice.
In a bowl, make a sauce with the finely chopped garlic, sweet paprika, olive oil and rosemary, thyme to taste, then spread this mixture over the turkey legs, placing some of the mixture into the slits.
Pour the white wine* (or vegetable broth, chicken broth), add the bay leaves cut into pieces, leave to marinate overnight.
The next day, peel the small white potatoes and arrange them around the turkey in the roasting dish. Season them with a little salt, add chopped celery and drizzle with a little more white wine and olive oil to taste.
Place the baking dish in the oven, preheated to 360°F (180°C).
During cooking, turn the turkey legs if needed (if desired, add some chopped parsley to taste).
Finally, put some starch to thicken the roasted turkey sauce for about 5-10 minutes.
When the turkey legs are ready, cut them into pieces and place on a serving plate with toppings of your choice.
Serve the Turkey Legs with Garlic with salad, if desired.
Enjoy your meal !
