How to make
The milk and sugar for the syrup are brought to a boiling point over a low heat and stirred so that they do not burn, then they are set aside to cool.
The eggs and sugar for our delicious revani are beaten with a mixer in a deep bowl. Add the oil and milk.
Then slowly start adding the sifted flour with the baking powder, semolina and vanilla, mixing with a spatula.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 30-35 minutes.
After removing from the oven, pierce the revani with a fork or a toothpick and after a minute or two pour it evenly with the cooled syrup.
On top, you can sprinkle the dairy revani with coconut shavings or ground walnuts or anything else of our choice.
Let the syrup cake cool well and cut it into pieces.
