How to make
Sift the flour with 3.5 oz (100 g) of powdered sugar in a bowl and add the champagne, butter, a pinch of salt, vanilla sugar and cinnamon.
Knead a smooth dough, adding flour if it is too sticky, or a little butter and champagne if it seems hard. You can also use a mixer with dough attachments.
Roll out the dough into a thin crust on a floured surface and cut strips or triangles. Place pieces of Turkish delight and twist. You can give them whatever shape you like.
Bake in an oven heated to 320°F (160°C) for 20-25 minutes or until the sweets acquire a golden color.
Leave the Turkish Delight sweets to cool completely and sprinkle or roll them in powdered sugar.
