How to make
The listed products are for 5 compote jars. Each jar gets 4-5 pears, 5 tablespoons of sugar, a few pinches of citric acid, 1 clove.
Wash the pears, cut them into quarters or finely, and arrange them in the jars. Prepare a hot syrup, with the citric acid and cloves added to it. Fill the jars up to 1 finger width below the top.
Close the jars and sterilize them for 20 minutes. You can serve the pear compote with drops of rum for an even better taste.
