Ingredients

  • powdered sugar - 2 cups
  • butter - 4 tablespoons
  • flour - 2 cups
  • baking soda - 1 tsp, or baking powder
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • milk - 1/2 cup
  • whiskey - 1 wine glass (2/3 cup (150 ml))
  • raisins - 1/2 cup

How to make

Beat the powdered sugar with the butter into a smooth and fluffy cream and gradually add the sifted flour with the baking soda, salt, milk and whiskey.

Stir the mixture and mix it with the raisins. Pour it into a greased baking dish or form and put it to bake in a moderately heated oven.

Finally, check its readiness with a toothpick.
