For this fruit cake first beat the sugar with the soft butter, add the eggs and beat again.
Pour the sifted flour, salt and baking powder and mix.
Line a baking pan with baking paper and grease it with butter.
Pour the cake batter and spread it out evenly.
Cut the plums into two or four pieces and arrange them on top.
Mix 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle the plum cake.
Bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 30-40 minutes.
