How to make
The rose hips must be well ripe. Clean them from the stalks, wash them and pour water in a deep pot and boil them until soft.
They are rubbed through gauze 3-4 times, and the last time the gauze should be double layered, in order to sift the particles well.
The same is done with the apples. They are cleaned from the seeds and boiled and sieved.
Mix the two purees and pour sugar. On a moderate heat, boil until the wooden spoon with which you stir begins to make paths. The marmalade is poured hot into jars and sealed. Or as in my case - directly in a tray, cool it in the refrigerator and consume when it hardens.
