Ingredients

  • chickpeas - 9 oz (250 g) from a jar
  • dock - 2 bunches
  • olive oil - 1 cap
  • spring onions - 2 stalks
  • carrot - 1
  • onions - 1 small onion
  • parsley
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • water - 3 - 4 cups (800 ml)

How to make

We made a delicious spring stew and here's how to make it.

In a frying pan, heat olive oil along with finely chopped spring onions, onion and grated carrot.

The cleaned dock from the veins is blanched until it changes color and it is strained.

Finely chop it and add it to the pan with a little water.

Stir briefly, until the vegetables soften.

Sprinkle with paprika and pour hot water.

Add the strained chickpeas from a jar and cook over moderate heat for about 20 minutes until the chickpea stew is ready.

Season with sea salt and eat it for lunch.
