How to make
The peeled potatoes are cut into cubes and boiled until soft. It is faster that way. When strained, mash them with a fork as for plain mashed potatoes, or with a press.
Add finely chopped onion, spring onions, parsley, savory herb, small cubes of ham and grated cheese.
Crack an egg and add 1 level top tbsp. of flour into the mixture. It is mixed as for minced meat and seasoned with salt and black pepper.
I let the potato patty mixture chill in the fridge, otherwise the patties will fall apart if the mixture is warm. Then they are formed into medium-sized potato patties with ham by dipping our hands in flour.
I arrange them on foil while I shape them all and heat oil. I lightly sprinkle the patties with flour on top.
With a fork, scoop them from below and put them in the pan. Fry them on both sides until golden. I turn them with two forks and then fried patties are taken out. Very tasty for lunch. Enjoy your meal!
