How to make
Wash and strain the lentils. Transfer them into a deep pot, pour about 1 liter of cold water and put it on the stove to boil.
After 5 minutes of boiling, add finely chopped half an onion, diced carrots and pepper strips.
Lower the heat and cook for about 15-20 minutes until semi-cooked.
Heat the oil in a pan, add the remaining finely chopped onion and cleaned garlic cloves.
After a minute, add the flour, stir, add paprika and after mixing the products well, pour the broth over the lentils.
Finally, add the finely chopped and peeled tomato and spices - salt to taste, black pepper and dried crushed savory herb.
Transfer the lentils into a baking pan and bake at 360°F (180°C) until done, to bake the lentils well in the oven.
Serve the oven-baked lentils with finely chopped parsley.
