  • almond flour - 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • powdered sugar - 2.3 oz (65 g)
  • cocoa - 1 tsp.
  • brown sugar - 0.5 oz (15 g)
  • egg whites - 1 pc.

  • mascarpone - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • liquid cream - 1 tbsp.
  • liquid chocolate - 1 tbsp.
  • powdered sugar - 3 tbsp.

How to make

Gorgeous macarons for your party, birthday, for guests and all loved ones.

To make these delicious French macarons, first mix the powdered sugar with almond flour.

You should grind them very well in a chopper into a fine powder. Then sift them once or twice through a sieve, along with the cocoa, so that there are no lumps.

Beat the egg whites (which are at room temperature) in a dry bowl with a mixer, like for a meringue cream, along with the sugar.

Add the dry ingredients in two parts to the egg whites beaten with sugar, by carefully mixing the consistency, until homogenous.

Draw circles with a diameter of 1.2″ (3 cm) on baking paper. The paper is placed on a suitable baking tray.

Put the mixture for the French macarons in a piping bag and fill each outlined circle with the mixture for French macarons.

Hit the tray several times on a suitable, hard surface to get the air out of the sweets.

Smooth out the resulting holes in the macarons with a spatula. Leave them in the tray for two to three hours or a day, so that a crust forms on their surface.

Bake at 280°F (140°C), in an oven with a fan for about 10 minutes, by monitoring them at all times. After they are baked, let the French macarons cool down so that they can be peeled off more easily.

To make the mascarpone cream, beat the mascarpone with the cream, liquid chocolate, powdered sugar and rum essence until smooth. Fill a piping bag with the cream and stick the macarons two by two with it.
