Ingredients

  • chicken fillet - 1.8 lb (800 g)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • flour
  • for the sauce
  • tomatoes - 0.9 lb (400 g), canned
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • salt
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper
  • basil
  • mozzarella - 5.3 oz (150 g)

How to make

Form 4 steaks from the chicken fillet. Use a hammer to thin them slightly, season with salt and black pepper and roll them in flour.

Seal them in heated fat. Arrange them in a tray.

In a pan with heated oil, fry the chopped onion and garlic. Add the blended tomatoes to them and let the sauce boil for ten minutes.

Add the spices and pour the mixture over the chicken fillets. Bake at 390°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes.

Remove the tray and place the grated mozzarella on top of each fillet. Return back in the oven for a few more minutes to melt.

The chicken fillets with tomato sauce and mozzarella are very tasty.
