How to make
The walnuts are washed well, crushed and added along with the shells in a small pot on the stove. They are poured with 500 ml water and to them are added the fresh geranium and basil leaves.
Boil for 5 minutes, then cover the pot for a few more minutes to infuse.
The resulting decoction is drunk 3-4 times during a day.
Besides relieving dry cough, it has a good effect on digestion if taken on an empty stomach. It also has a calming effect mostly thanks to the geranium.
The aroma is pleasant and fresh and may not be sweetened, but if you wish, add a spoonful of honey to each intake.
The decoction of geranium, basil and walnuts for dry cough is ready.
