How to make
I cleaned the spinach and blanched it briefly, then strained and shocked it with cold water.
I finely chopped the onion and garlic in a pot, added the oil and fried briefly.
I added the washed rice and added it to the pot, fried it as well for a few minutes.
I added finely chopped spinach and the spices, then the hot water and reduced the heat. I let it simmer until the rice was semi-cooked.
I poured it into a small baking pan and put the spinach and rice in the oven at 360°F (180°C) for 5 minutes, then added the topping.
I baked until done.
I served the oven-baked spinach with rice with a sheep's yogurt topping.
