The classic Bechamel sauce recipe is traditionally made with just 3 ingredients: butter, flour and milk.
For the vegan version, animal products are simply replaced with plant-based ones.
Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the flour and fry for about a minute.
Add the plant-based milk of your choice in parts, by stirring constantly.
Then add the salt, black pepper and nutmeg and cook until the desired thickness is obtained.
Note that as the vegetable sauce cools, it will become even thicker.
Remove the Vegan Bechamel from the heat and make a Delicious Vegan Lasagna.
