How to make
Soak the dates for 10-15 minutes in hot water if they are too dry.
Then strain them well.
Put the oats and hazelnuts in the blender bowl and grind them in short pulses.
Then add all the remaining ingredients (dates, honey, peanut butter, dried cranberries, carob powder) and run the blender again just enough to mix the ingredients.
From the resulting mixture, form raw candies, which you can roll in ground nuts, coconut shavings or leave them without rolling them.
I rolled half of them in carob flour and left the rest as they are.
I made a small hole in the center of each energy candy with the handle of a wooden spoon and filled them with pistachio paste, but this is optional.
Refrigerate the vegan candies for 1 hour to set.
From this amount, I prepared about 30 tasty and healthy sugar-free energy candies.
