Ingredients

  • potatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • Spices
  • black pepper - ground
  • thyme - fresh
  • olive oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • balsamic vinegar - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • brown sugar - 1 tsp.
  • mustard - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Peel and wash the potatoes.

They are cut into pieces of the same size.

In a deep bowl, mix all the spices.

Mix the olive oil, vinegar, sugar and mustard. Add as much black pepper and thyme as you like. Stir well. Add the potatoes to these products.

Mix well, until each piece is well seasoned. Leave them for half an hour to absorb the aroma of the spices.

Pour the potatoes into a baking pan lined with baking paper.

Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) until done.

The Oven-Baked Caramelized Potatoes are a great side dish for pork.
