Ingredients

  • pappardelle pasta - 9 oz (250 g)
  • prosciutto - 7 oz (200 g)
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.
  • spring onions - 2 stalks
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • peas
  • cooking cream - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • grana padano - 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • black pepper - 2 - 3 pinches

How to make

Boil the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the package. In this case, I used fresh pasta that was boiled for three minutes.

The prosciutto is cut into strips and fried in heated olive oil. When it acquires a golden color, take it out and put the finely chopped spring onion in its place and a little later the clove of garlic.

As soon as they are fried, add the boiled and strained pappardelle along with a little of the water in which they were boiled.

Add the canned peas and after stirring several times, pour in the cooking cream.

Add the strips of prosciutto to the pappardelle pasta, season with a little ground black pepper and grated Grana padano cheese. Now it is ready to be served.

You can leave a piece or two of the prosciutto to put on top as a decoration.
