How to make

Be sure to prepare the products in their required portions in bowls before starting to cook.

The orange peels should be washed with hot water and soap in advance. Peel off their inner white skin, since it it is bitter.

In a nutribullet or blender, mix the agave syrup with water, dates or other dried soft fruit and the orange peels.

Just before you start blending with the blender, put the butter in a pot to melt on the stove. After it liquefies, add to it the sugar, seeds and oats, spices and stir at all times. Then add the mixture from the blender. Stir at all times. Turn off the heat and keep stirring.

Pour the resulting mixture into a baking pan or mold with baking paper on the bottom. Bake at 390°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes. When the flapjack is ready, you can see a light crust on the surface, as well as feel a pleasant aroma from the spices.

Turn off the oven, remove and slice it and leave it to cool at room temperature. Do not cover it with anything. Once it has completely cooled, you can transfer the flapjack pieces into a box with a lid. Now you have a healthy, soft and sweet breakfast, which is perfect for pairing with your morning coffee or tea.

This healthy recipe is perfect for people of all ages, because the flapjack is soft and healthy and has almost zero preservatives, except maybe the agave syrup. If you are diabetic it may not be suitable for you. Consult your doctor.
