How to make
Knead a soft dough with the listed ingredients, starting by beating the egg with the sugar, adding the soda, yogurt, butter (doesn't have to be melted) and lemon juice and lemon peel.
Gradually add the flour, until a soft dough is obtained.
Roll it out into a 0.4″ (1 cm) thick crust and cut out the donuts. I used a cup and I used a cap to make a small hole in the middle.
Be very careful and make sure that the crust is really about 1 cm thin, otherwise it puffs up too much and spoils the shape.
The shaped donuts are arranged onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and the donuts are baked in a preheated oven at 430°F (220°C) for about 10 minutes.
