How to make

The milk is heated in the microwave. The yeast and 1 spoon of sugar are added to it. Stir and leave it to activate.

Sift the flour into a large bowl. The remaining sugar and salt are added to it. Mix. Wait for the butter to melt.

It is added. Add the vanilla and the egg. Everything is mixed with a spoon. Add the activated milk with yeast. Mix.

The dough is kneaded. Leave it in the bowl and cover it with a towel.

It is left in a warm place for about an hour, so that the dough can rise.

The dough is rolled out and circles are cut out with a glass. Smaller circles are cut in the middle to get the shape of the classic doughnuts.

When you have prepared donuts from all of the dough, leave it rest for a few minutes, during which time, you can put the oil to heat up. A pot with a good amount of oil is used, not heated to the strongest degree, to fry them, until they aquire a golden color.

The donuts are fried on both sides. They are removed and placed onto kitchen paper.

The liquid chocolate is put in a small bowl and put in the microwave for a while to melt. Half of the donut is dipped in the chocolate and sprinkled with sugar or chocolate sprinkles. Leave them to cool slightly and attack the donuts with liquid chocolate.
