Ingredients

  • chicken fillet - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • cauliflower - 2 lb (900 g)
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • milk - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml)
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • processed cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • vegetable seasoning - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - by taste
  • salt - by taste
  • parsley - 2 sprigs

How to make

Cut the cauliflower into pieces, wash them and place them in boiling salted water.

Boil them for 3 minutes, strain, discard the water and arrange the cauliflower in a baking pan.

Wash and dry the fillet and cut it into pieces.

Melt the butter in a pan, add the chicken pieces and sprinkle them with as much black pepper as you like.

Fry, until they remain in fat and until the meat aquires a golden color.

Remove the bites from the butter and arrange them on top of the cauliflower. In the same fat, fry the flour, until it aquires a light golden color.

Add the milk and vegetable seasoning. After it boils, add the finely chopped white cheese, half of the grated cheese and boil for about 2-3 minutes.

Pour the sauce over the cauliflower and meat, sprinkle with the finely chopped parsley and sprinkle with the remaining grated yellow cheese.

Place the baking pan in an oven preheated to 360°F (180°C) and bake the casserole, until the yellow cheese has lightly browned.

The chicken casserole with cauliflower and sauce is very tasty.
