How to make

Choose a sweet variety of apples, peel them, remove the core and cut them into pieces. You will preserve the vitamins in them as much as possible if you steam them. If not - put them in a pot with thick walls and add 4-5 tbsp. of water.

Cover them with a lid and stew them over low heat, until the apples soften (7-8 minutes). Then puree the apples and add a little warm water, until a smooth puree is obtained. This apple sauce is suitable for several month old babies.

If you want to prepare it, but not for a baby, add as much sugar as you want. The best option is not to boil the apples, but simply blend them in a blender or food processor. Optionally you can sweeten them and add cinnamon. Store them in the refrigerator.
