How to make
The vegetables are washed and prepared in advance. The carrots and onions are peeled and diced, the cauliflower is separated into pieces, the leeks are sliced and the okra and celery are also chopped.
Finely chop the garlic and parsley and set them aside for last. The rice is washed and strained from the water.
In a pan with a non-stick coating, pour the oil and stew the onion.
After a few minutes, add the leeks and butter. Gradually add the rest of the vegetables, by stirring carefully, so that they don't become mushy.
Finally, add the rice, stir several times, until it absorbs the liquid and pour two cups of warm beef broth.
Stir and leave the dish on the stove, until it absorbs the liquid. If necessary, add another cup of beef broth.
A few minutes before removing the dish from the heat, add the finely chopped garlic and as much dry spices as you like. Finally, sprinkle with parsley.
You can serve the fried rice as a main course or as a meat side dish.
