  • sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • butter - 1.1 oz (30 g)
  • For the cake mix
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 9 oz (250 g)
  • vanilla - 1 powder
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • oil - 4 tbsp (60 ml)
  • flour - 11 oz (320 g)
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp.
  • chocolate drops (optional)
  • crushed nuts

How to make

In a suitable container (saucepan, pan) caramelize the sugar.

Add the butter and immediately after that add the peeled and sliced ​​bananas, which you have sprinkled with the lemon juice.

Mix well and leave the caramel mixture at a moderate temperature for no more than 3 minutes. Remove the cookware from the heat and leave it to cool.

In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla, until a foamy mixture is obtained.

The milk and the oil are successively added. The flour along with the baking powder is sifted directly into the bowl. Everything is mixed very well, so that no lumps remain.

The two mixtures are mixed.

You can distribute the prepared mixture in individual silicone molds or in a larger one - whatever you decide.

I preferred to make 12 pcs. small muffins and one medium-sized sponge cake.

Optionally, you can sprinkle your favorite muffins with chocolate drops or crushed nuts.

Bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 45 minutes (according to my oven).

After removing the caramel banana muffins from the molds, leave them to cool and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
