How to make
Pour the flour into a bowl and make a well. Put the remaining products in the well and mix everything with a spoon.
Leave the dough to rise overnight. When it's ready, sprinkle the work surface with flour and lightly roll out the dough.
Cut it into small pieces. Take one piece at a time, pull it apart slightly with your hands and drop it into the heated fat to fry.
Fry the mekitsi on both sides, until they aquire a golden color.
Serve them with choice of jam, honey or white cheese.
