"You take one, then a second, a fourth...a fifth - what can one do when they are so irresistibly delicious"

Ingredients

  • puff pastry - 1 sheet
  • figs - 3 - 4 pcs.
  • apples - 1 pc.
  • almonds - a handful
  • biscotti - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • lemon juice
  • cinnamon - a pinch
measures

How to make

Roll out the sheet of puff pastry. Cut out squares with a mold.

Cut the figs into quarters. Peel and cut the apple into small pieces and drizzle it with a few drops of lemon juice.

In a mortar, coarsely crush the raw and unpeeled almonds and biscotti with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.

Place a teaspoon of the almond-biscuit mixture on each square of puff pastry.

Place an apple slice and a fig quarter. Gather the ends of the bohcha dough.

Arrange the mini strudels on a tray lined with baking paper.

Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C) with a fan. Bake the strudels for 5 minutes at this temperature, then reduce to 340°F (170°C) and finish baking, until they're nicely browned.

Sprinkle the warm mini strudels with powdered sugar mixed with a packet of vanilla sugar or powder.

Enjoy!
