Ingredients

  • cauliflower - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • pasta - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • tuna fish - 4.2 oz (120 g) (canned)
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • lemon peel
measures

How to make

Cut the cauliflower into pieces and boil it in salted water with a slice of lemon. Strain and mash with a fork.

Heat a cup of olive oil in a pan. Fry a clove of garlic briefly, until a golden color is obtained and remove it.

Pour the cauliflower puree into the flavored olive oil. Add one tin of tuna, from which you have previously strained the oil.

Mix the ingredients and remove the pan from the heat.

Cook the pasta - preferably penne rigate, in boiling salted water according to the time indicated on the package. Strain and immediately transfer it into the pan with the cauliflower.

Pour a small ladle of the water, in which you have cooked the pasta. Return the pan back onto the heat for 4-5 minutes, by stirring constantly, until the pasta is well flavored.

Distribute the cauliflower and tuna pasta into plates while it's hot, sprinkle it with a pinch of grated lemon peel and serve it immediately.

You will be surprised how delicious it is!

Enjoy!
