How to make

Put flour sifted with a pinch of salt into a bowl. Add the ground almonds, egg yolks, powdered sugar and milk.

Knead a soft dough. Attention: the dough is sticky, so work with floured hands while forming the balls.

Cut walnut-sized pieces from the dough. Add a piece of Turkish delight and a piece of almond. Shape into a ball.

Arrange the balls spaced apart onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. They have no leavening agent, but they expand when baked.

Bake at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes.

Cool the sweets on a wire rack and sprinkle them generously with powdered sugar.

Enjoy!
