How to make
Peel and cut the apples into small pieces. Pour them with the juice of one lemon, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Add the chopped walnuts. Mix the products well.
Spread out the puff pastry on a piece of baking paper. With a sharp knife, cut strips, which are about 1 cm wide at the two opposite ends, by reaching the middle of the sheet. At one opposite end, which is not cut, spread the stuffing.
Cover with the other uncut end. Begin braiding by first taking one strip from one end and crossing it with another from the opposite end.
Spread the braided strudel with milk.
Bake the strudel at 390°F (200°C) in a preheated oven for 5 minutes, then reduce to 360°F (180°C) and finish baking, until it aquires an appetzing color.
