Ingredients

  • calamari - 1.1 lb (500 g) cleaned
  • potatoes - 6 pcs.
  • onion - 1 onion
  • tomato - 1 pc. (peeled)
  • white wine - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • parsley
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • saffron - 1 pinch
  • oil
  • salt

How to make

In a deep dish, fry the calamari, until they aquire a golden color. Finely chop all the vegetables, except the potatoes.

Add everything to the calamari and fry, until the vegetables are cooked through. Pour a glass of wine and add in a pinch saffron.

When the wine has evaporated, add the chopped potatoes and pour about 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) of hot water.

If you want the stew to be more liquid, add more water. Leave it to simmer for about 20 minutes.

The calamari stew with potatoes are very tasty.
