How to make
The cooking is done in a pressure cooker. All of the products for standard fried meatballs are placed in the minced meat.
Take a little more than 1 tbsp. of it, is spread on the palm of your hand and a piece of raw chopped carrot is placed in it, it is rolled into a roll, dipped in flour and fried in fat, until the roll is firm. They are taken out.
In a pot with a little fat, stew a chopped onion, until it becomes transparent. If there are any pieces of carrots left, they are also added.
Add the wine and leave it to boil for 1-2 minutes, in order for the alcohol to evaporate, add the allspice, black peppercorns, bay leaf and pour the tomatoes.
The so-called fajita meatballs are arranged and add water for cooking. Leave them on a moderate heat for about 20-25 minutes. At the end, a lump of butter can be added for aroma. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with a side of boiled rice.
Note: There is no explanation why these delicious carrot meatballs are called that.
